Welcome to the web site for the 2007 ACA meeting!

You are a young scientist (graduate student, post-doc, etc.) and are wondering what is available for you at the meeting? Well, besides great science, there will be social events as well, including a great event at the city library where you will see fireworks from the rooftop garden while enjoying the company of your fellow young scientists.

How are you going to afford to get to Salt Lake City? Apply for a travel grant from the ACA.

Limited funds will be available to help students and young scientists in attending the 2007 Meeting by contributing toward travel and related expenses. Preference will be given to those presenting a paper. Interested parties should submit the application form and required paperwork before March 1, 2007.

Are you a post-doc? If so, Rigaku has some travel money available:

Rigaku Americas Corporation will award summer travel bursaries in the amount of U.S. $500 each to the five (5) post-doctoral fellows who provide the most compelling explanation as to how they intend to pursue a career in structural biology. Applications must be received by July 8, 2007.
